EMDEX Learning

Landing Page UI

Pharmaceutical Publishing, Consulting and Training

EMDEX is Nigeria’s leading pharmaceutical and therapeutic reference company serving healthcare professionals since 1991. EMDEX Learning is the expression responsible for training. My role since I joined the company in 2018 has grown from designing just marketing assets to brand identity, digital product design and leadership.

Duration: August 2022
Role: UI Designer and WordPress Developer
Responsibilities: Sketching, Wireframing, Prototyping, WordPress Development, Email and Print Design.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

My objective was to create a Landing page for the EMDEX Drug Information Course for Pharmaceutical Professionals. The essence of the landing page was to enable professionals to access all information concerning the course, register, and make payment seamlessly. I sketched the idea, created the digital wireframe and high fidelity mockup on Figma, developed it using WordPress, and designed print and email marketing assets.

STYLE

For brand consistency, I used the same style I created for the main company website to design this landing page.

SKETCHING / PAPER WIREFRAME

I sketched out the idea for the page: a hero section with a CTA, blocks that explain more details like course schedule, facilitator, course fee and a registration form right on the page.

DIGITAL WIREFRAME

HIGH FIDELITY MOCKUP

After a few iterations, I designed the high-fidelity mockup using the style guide for brand cohesion. The “Register” buttons were linked to the “Register” segment of the page for a speedy experience. An online payment platform was later integrated into the design and development. A confirmation page after registration directs users to available payment methods. Link to High Fidelity Prototype

EMAIL MARKETING

I designed the image and wrote the copy for an email blast that was sent to all their subscribers. The CTA was a “Register Now!” button linked to the course landing page.

PRINT

Marketing for the course was also done offline using A4-sized bifold brochures.

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

In order to create one seamless process for the registrants and reduce fallout, I integrated a payment method within the registration. After filling out the form, the link to a secured payment platform was included in the confirmatory message.

TAKEAWAYS AND NEXT STEPS

The company was impressed with the design and development. After testing and iterations, the landing page went live and got over 500 subscribers within 2 weeks. The feedback thus far has been good.
